Perimeter Based - Grade 2

£6.5 per unit

A perimeter-based Grade 2 pallet is a type of pallet that shares some characteristics with the Grade 1 version but typically exhibits signs of wear or repair, and may not be made from the same high-quality timber as Grade 1 pallets. While both Grade 1 and Grade 2 perimeter-based pallets have a flush perimeter base and are often the same size, typically 1200 x 1000mm, the Grade 2 pallets are usually considered a lower quality compared to Grade 1. Grade 2 pallets may have undergone repairs and might not be suitable for the heaviest loads or for food-grade applications. However, they still offer a heavy-duty lift capacity, although it may be less than the one tonne capacity of Grade 1 pallets, and they retain the 4-way entry feature that allows forklift and pallet jack access from all sides. These pallets are commonly used in industries where the highest quality is not necessary, or where the pallets are expected to endure rougher handling that might damage higher-grade pallets. This makes them a more cost-effective option for certain uses, although it's important to ensure that their condition is adequate for the intended load and storage system.
