A Grade 3 Euro pallet, also known as Grade C or Lightweight, is a type of pallet that is used for lighter loads. This grade of pallet is capable of bearing weight between 200kg and 500kg, which is significantly less than the weight capacities of Grade 1 and Grade 2 pallets. Grade 3 pallets are described as suitable for light to medium goods, with an evenly distributed weight load capacity of up to 750kg. They are considered ideal for light to medium loads and are noted for their characteristic that products will not slip around easily when on them. Furthermore, these pallets are not affected by temperature variations, can be repaired, and are recyclable. However, it is important to note that Grade C pallets often have a poor appearance and may not be in the best structural shape. They are typically the lowest quality offered by manufacturers and are sometimes the ones that manufacturers pay to have removed due to their condition. Because of their lower structural integrity, the potential for pallet failure is higher in this grade compared to higher grades, and as such, some pallet companies do not even offer this tier.
